Copper is a metal that oxidizes naturally and fairly quickly. This means that the finish will fade to a darker, dull state over time if left unpolished and can leave a mark on the skin. This greenish mark is harmless and does not represent any harm to health.
How much and how quickly your copper ring will oxidize can depend on your perspiration and acidity levels, the condition of the air you live in, and any chemicals / solutions you come in contact with on a daily basis. Some rarely, if ever, experience tarnish residue on their skin, some see it within hours.
I'll send you your ring in a recycled (eco-friendly) jeans bag. I will include a metal cleaning cloth so you can polish your ring every time you take it off.
I recommend cleaning your ring every night with the metal cleaning cloth that I will send you with your ring and not using it to sleep.
I will also include a sheet with care instructions.
Please do not try to clean with household products such as: lemon, ketchup, vinegar, silver cleaners etc. All of these products can damage your ring.
The Copper ring
The Copper that I have used for your ring is 99.9% pure copper. This means that it is very unlikely that it can cause allergies.

The Copper rings are made with a solid Copper bar, I do not use welding to make the band.

Damascus steel
A special jewel needs special care.
Do not submit your Damascus steel ring for long hours to moisture. If for some reason it gets wet, dry it immediately.
You can maintain and extend the life of your ring by wiping the metal with a cloth and a little bit of beeswax or some extra virgin olive oil or a little flaxseed oil once a week and finally wiping with a dry cloth and cleansed.
Substances like lemon, chlorine, seawater and cleaning products can generally change the appearance of your ring, however, this does not represent a burn of damage. A local jeweler could polish his ring again in a few minutes.
